The most advanced system on the market, specifically designed for helicopter use. Ship Shape™ OnBoard assures the pilot that his rotorcraft is Ship Shape™ before departure, and in the air - day or night.

Features:
Screen for graphic display of helicopter cross-section displaying problem spot

Hardware Configuration:
All of the probes, transducers and extension cables are connected to a small box (4.5" x 3.5" x 2.2") called the EDC (Engine Data Converter). The EDC can be mounted on the inside firewall of the aircraft. The EDC converts all engine data to serial data, which is then provided to the MVP-50 via two wires. This configuration makes installation much easier by reducing the wires to the instrument panel and eliminating the installation of many individual instruments.
Over 50 Available Functions:RPM - Works on Mags or Electronic Ignitions.
Fuel Flow - Also operates on engines with return fuel lines.
Fuel Left, Fuel Right, Fuel Main, Fuel Aux, Fuel Tip Left, Fuel Tip Right and Fuel Header.

Under Development
Ship-Shape™ Onboard was conceived from the need of the single PIC helicopter pilot who needs all the systems information possible for normal flight and emergency operation. The unique feature of Ship-Shape™ is the computer driven "Digital Co-Pilot" voice that is initiated automatically if any monitored preset is exceeded. As experienced pilots know, constant instrument scanning is difficult when demanding flight operations are carried out, especially during departure, landing or working heavy or with sling loads.
Ship-Shape™ Onboard displays and announces those issues as they occur, helping to provide the safety cushion and peace of mind in critical operations ,and, instant information feedback of potential safety of flight issues, just like a good co-pilot on larger helicopters. Fitted with the new generation HUMS vibration/temp sensors, Ship-Shape™ will provide that added level if critical component vibration and temp monitoring of all major components and engine so crews can make informed decisions, not guesses on vibration origin.
Designed by a helicopter pilot / mechanic / avionics technician with many years of flying, diagnostic and deep overhaul experience, ShipShape is the in-flight diagnostic tool of the future. Coming into standard use in many military helicopters. For more information see US Army Redstone Arsenal.
